The Compost Center at 29 Pond St North will be open Fridays 12:30-3:30 pm and Saturdays 9am - 3pm. The center will be open only to Attleboro residents participating in the City’s recycling and rubbish program. Homeowners that utilize landscapers must obtain tickets for the landscapers from the Health Department. Please call (508) 223-2222 Ext 3245 with any questions.

Stickers for the compost center are available at the Health Department or Compost Center. Vehicle registration and license is required. For residents not in the trash program there is a $5 yearly fee.
Plants, grass, brush and leaves are accepted at the center. Compost is available for residents to take during regular Compost Center hours
Landscapers may participate by purchasing tickets in the Attleboro Health Department. Tickets are sold in a pack of 5 for $60 or $12 a piece.
A standard size pick-up truck or 2 wheeled trailer require 1 ticket. Six wheeled trucks or trailers with more than 2 wheels require 2 tickets.
Logs that are greater than 6 inches in diameter and stumps will be excluded from the loads.
