Each summer Attleboro recreation is pleased to partner with our local cable company DoubleACS to provide a week long program for Attleboro children to learn the basics of television production.
The journey into television will never make more of an impact on youth than when they have the opportunity to create it; create the content, create the excitement and create the image.
Participants will create a 30 second commercial for a local non-profit organization and learn all the processes that go into the creation. These processes include interviewing, writing, directing, camera operation, editing and lighting just to name a few.
This program is available to Attleboro children ages 12 and older (and adults) and will run from Monday July 17th through Friday July 21st from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Bring your own lunch. Minimum enrollment of 5 participants is needed for this program and a maximum of 15 participants will be allowed to enroll.
The program is being offered in partnership with our friends at DoubleACS and will be held at their facility located at 42 Union Street. For more information contact DoubleACS at 508-226-2227 or visit their website.
Register through our Summer Brochure or call us at 774-203-1889 ext. 6.
Please note that a $5 deposit is required to secure a spot in the program. This will be refunded to Attleboro residents at the conclusion of the program.
