The Attleboro Youth Center is an after school program for Attleboro youth. Our goal is to provide a positive and enriching after school alternative for Attleboro youth, ages 8 -17, who are enrolled in school full-time. This after school drop-in program provides a range of activities for youth under the supervision of Youth Advocates that encourage positive behavior. Opening date for 2023 is October 2nd at 2:30PM. The program will be open Monday through Thursday, 2:30PM to 5:00PM. Beginning on December 1st, we will also be open Friday afternoons from 2:30PM to 5:00PM. Hours may change during school vacations and holidays. The 2023-2024 season ends in mid-April.
The Youth Center is located at the Bartek Recreation Center at 81 Pine Street.
There is no charge to participate as this program is supported through funding from the Community Development Block Grant Program and private donations. Any Attleboro youth enrolled in school between the ages of 8 and 17 can participate in this program. Activities that are available include:
- Computer Games
- Computer Homework Lab
- Table Games
- Video Game Room
- Assistance with Daily Homework
Every youth that enters the program must sign and adhere to a Code of Conduct ensuring a fun, respectful and safe experience for all that participate. Also, each youth must have their parent/guardian fill out and sign a Self Certification Form as a requirement of our funding grant.
