Outdoor Dining Expansion Application


CITY OF ATTLEBORO PROCESS FOR PROVISION OF TEMPORARY OUTDOOR DINING SERVICE
PURSUANT TO COVID-19 ORDER NO. 35:

Pursuant to Section 4 of COVID-19 Order No. 35, the City has prepared this guidance outlining the procedure a restaurant must follow if it wants to request the temporary expansion of outdoor table service in a safe and responsible way during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before the expanded area is approved, the restaurant owner/manager or designee must submit a completed application to the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development. All applications will be circulated among the Mayor’s Office, the Fire Department, Police Department, Health Department, Building Department and Liquor Licensing Commission. The Liquor Licensing Commission, as the local licensing authority, shall subsequently, ratify all administrative approvals.
Administrative approval of all applications hereunder, shall automatically revert back to its status prior to the approval of the change of expansion of outdoor table service, or in the description of licensed premises, on November 1, 2020 or the date Executive Order 35 is rescinded, whichever is sooner.
