The Economic Development Office completed a wayfinding study in 2022, outlining the best locations for signage and type. During the study, we found a need to create a brand that resonated with the community to put on the signage. The City contracted with HUB Collective who came to Attleboro to help capture the Downtown’s identity and assets that could help build a cohesive brand. Through engaging public sessions and interviews with Downtown stakeholders, HUB was able to learn about Downtown Attleboro and the role it plays within the City. After much deliberation and several community engagement activities, we have decided on the final brand for our Downtown. We are very excited to reveal the NEW Downtown Attleboro Brand!
Capturing Attleboro’s history with the subtle class ring shape, as well as the intersections of our Downtown in the “A”, we found that this brand could bring our history forward in a modern way. Along with the slogan “Just Around the Corner”, a nod to Attleboro’s non-traditional street layout, and that you can find something new and exciting around the corner, this package is a tool we will use to create a sense of place when entering the Downtown.
