ATTLEBORO  FIRE  DEPARTMENT  FIRE  ALARM DIV.

The Attleboro Fire Department uses a radio alarm system manufactured by Signal Communications Corp. The system has been in-service since 1979. This 16 zone box  is one of 81 new radio boxes installed since the original 171 master boxes that were capable of ten zones and were much larger than the 16 zone master boxes now being installed.

The city currently has 252 master boxes and 40 street boxes.

 

The Fire Alarm Superintendent's hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday - Friday.

      Systems with city master boxes may be tested  Tue - Wed - Thur  only, 8:30am to 3pm  with minimum of 24hr notice.
