Our Mission Statement

Since 1893 the Attleboro Fire Department has been committed to preserving life and property. Since WWII, we have had the responsibility of Emergency Medical Services added to our mission. The Department is constantly addressing the demands of a changing community. In support of our emergency mission, the department is involved in numerous community-based projects. Juvenile Fire Setter, SAFE, CPR and other community programs are part of our commitment. Our Fire Prevention Bureau is involved in a wide range of activities from code enforcement to fire safety in all areas of the city.
