Free-Throw Contest
The Attleboro Recreation Department and Attleboro Youth Basketball Association have teamed up to conduct the annual
Middle School League Free-Throw Contest.
Each team in the Middle School League has a 25 shot shoot-off to determine a Team Champion. The Team Champions then move to the Bartek Recreation Center where they compete for their School Championship. This is also a 25 shot shoot-off.
Once the School Champions are crowned winners then compete in the Semi-Finals in an effort to reach the
City Championships.
The pressure packed City Championships are held at halftime of Attleboro
High School varsity basketball games. In the finals each participant attempts 10
foul shots. There is a sudden death shoot-off in the event of a tie.
