Youth Center

The Attleboro Youth Center is an after school program for Attleboro youth. Our goal is to provide a positive and enriching after school alternative for Attleboro youth, ages 8 -17, who are enrolled in school full-time. This after school program provides a range of activities for the youth under the supervision of Youth Advocates that encourage positive behavior. Opening date for 2019 is October 1st at 2:30PM. The program will be open Monday through Thursday, 2:30PM to 5:00PM. Beginning on December 6th, we will be open Friday evenings from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. Hours may change during school vacations and holidays.

The Youth Center is located at the Bartek Recreation Center at 81 Pine Street.

Free Program


There is no charge to participate as this program is supported through funding from the Community Development Block Grant Program and private donations. Questions regarding this program can be directed to Tim Killion, Program Coordinator,  at  774-203-1889 #6 or email.

Our Mission


"To provide a safe, positive after school enrichment experience for youth in the community, offering a supportive environment with a wide variety of programs and activities. Staff will mentor, nurture and encourage all youth to work towards their fullest potential and become valued members of our society."

Activities


Any Attleboro youth enrolled in school between the ages of 8 and 17 can participate in this program. Activities that are available include:
  • Basketball
  • Billiards
  • Computer Games
  • Computer Homework Lab
  • Flag Football
  • Foosball
  • Soccer
  • Table Games
  • TV Lounge
  • Video Game Room
Every youth that enters the program must sign and adhere to a Code of Conduct ensuring a fun, respectful and safe experience for all that participate.
