If Attleboro wants to get ahead of the Cannabis Industry curve, we have to get involved! As more towns and cities are adopting their acceptance, it would be in the best interest of the city to start opening up shops. Bristol County Wellness Center is one dispensary looking to open up in Attleboro, but Attleboro has a large population and more need to get involved. As we look at other towns and cities with dispensaries already, you can see the revenue these businesses are bringing to these areas. By adopting the Cannabis Industry there is revenue to be made; this means there is a higher chance of higher taxes to bring money into our city

If Attleboro wants to get ahead of the Cannabis Industry curve, we have to get involved! As more towns and cities are adopting their acceptance, it would be in the best interest of the city to start opening up shops. Bristol County Wellness Center is one dispensary looking to open up in Attleboro, but Attleboro has a large population and more need to get involved. As we look at other towns and cities with dispensaries already, you can see the revenue these businesses are bringing to these areas. A fast growing sport, that doesn’t require a lot of maintenance. Disc golf is one of the only sports Attleboro doesn’t have a hold on yet. The code that disc golfers keep is (1: Play smart. Never throw into a blind area or when players, spectators, pedestrians, or other facility users are within range. Use a spotter.) (2: Respect the Course. Observe all posted rules. No littering, graffiti, or abuse of equipment or Flora.) (3: Represent the Sport. Be positive and responsible. Teach others.) There are currently 1,345 members of the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) in Ma. alone, 16 of which reside in Attleboro. The sport covers a wide variety of age groups, 35% of PDGA members are in their 30s, 18% are in their 40s and 27% are in their 20s. Teens make up 7% and 50-65+ make up 13%. The sport helps to preserve the land and provides the community with a fun way to exercise. If designed right, the course could even be on the professional tour. Good economy booster for Attleboro.

Recently there has been many vehicles approximately every few seconds throughout the late hour into the morning hours traveling up and down main street.. Many more than everage. My concern is that...

Recently there has been many vehicles approximately every few seconds throughout the late hour into the morning hours traveling up and down main street.. Many more than everage. My concern is that residents may be traveling in and out of states that have recent openings. The covid pandemic is still very much a danger. And these travelers may possibly be bringing back covid19 disease back into the community. Because of excessive travel. There are many in the town still not wearing masks while walking in groups as well. My idea would be to close after a certain hour the main street area to enforce a curfew on the access road to go in and out of the state. It is evident that travelers in the night are no going anywhere in Attleboro because nothing here is open.so maybe a closing of main street between certain hours would be a great idea and help impede the traveling back and fourth it would certainly reduce the risk of covid infection in our town.
